Dusty,

Get your carry permit and try it! Have to give the car jackers some Lead in their A$$ to go with the Gold in their mouth. And my wife has the nerve to say I'm selfish.

The tissue can be purchased in the parts department of your Ford dealer. It's true.....

I liked the cup holders in the console in my 03 better. You could pull them up and hide 2-3 guns in there. No one knew that the whole cup holder assembly could be snapped out. I have pulled the cover off my 04 thats snapped around the shifter to hide a pistol in. (Yes I have a carry permit, and there are some places you can not enter with it, so a well hidden place in the truck is better then a place some kid can bust the window out and find)

Sounds like some of you girls need to get a make-up mirror and a blow dryer in there.

For me I'm with blacklariatfx4. My Sig-Sauer P229-.357Sig, an extra clip, CD wallet, spare change and a pack of smokes fit in there just about right.

Well I hope you don't go out of state with that in there, unless your a cop.

Plus some people aren't so lucky to live in states that allow concealed handguns.

But you would definately be the wrong person to try and truck jack...

I've got the concealed carry permit and fortunately our neighboring states and some others have reciprocity laws to accomadate us(except NM). Hopefully someday we'll all have the rights we deserve.

Hopes not to turn this into a gun rights thread(please).

You know that long pocket in the door? A 6 D-cell maglite fits in there perfect! Just as effective as a tire iron, but a bit more innocent looking...

When I picked up my truck and looked in the console, the kleenex holder already had some kleenex in it. The portable kleenex was the kind that mine had in it. I can just imagine the look I would get at the dealers parts counter if I asked for kleenex.

http://www.kleenex.com/us/products/e...PocketPack.asp

Thats the link to what is in my truck.

Hahahaha! Y'all crack me up! The ladies that ride with me have always needed tissues for one thing or another. I've always carried them. It's kind of a Boy Scout thing ... be prepared.

Anyway, it's the standard "vehicle" box of tissues you should be able to get at any larger grocery store, Wal-Mart type store, etc.

As for organizers, I've heard some guys getting various compartment trays from Target and/or The Container Store. You might find a couple stackable ones. Think I'll look for those this weekend.

TrukMupper,

It must be a Texas thing!. Yeah I'm stationed down here in Florida but I'm just counting down the days to get back to Fort Woth and get a lease in Llano or Uvalde.

Anyone here want some further info regarding concealed carry and which states honor your permit, go to www.packing.org

Now if you're in California, you might want to check with your local authorities before accessing a website known to promote the legal carry of concealed weapons... The California State Gestapo might put you on a watch list.

I'm hoping my Glock 31 .357sig will fit just fine. I'll be picking up my truck in 1.5 hrs....

Well my browning 9 mm high power fits nicely along with my Glock 30 and Glock 21 with plenty of room for ammo as well...although only the browning usually rides in there.

Guns and ammo ey? You guys must live in dangerous places!

I am in Boston and all a hijacker would find in my center console is a couple of wireless PS2 controllers, a mp3 player, and a tire pressure gauge.

But I guess if I was really determined I could poke one of their eyes with the long, thin tire pressure gauge.

OH YEA and I am in a ragingly liberal p.o.s. state where practically the only way to get a permit to carry is by being law enforcement.

I'd like to see some pics of these center consoles with guns and other bad a$s stuff...

I thought about trying to stuff my wife in there for the long trips...I think the audio could drown out the muffled screams
