I am considering an 8100 dry 5er. I have the 5.4 3.73 SCab Lariat that says 9500 but with 18in wheels drops to 9000. I am looking for advice on possible towing the max !

I figure with my 01 SuperCrew I pull about 22,000 pounds.

Quite often in the summer. Two fullly loaded 22 foot hay wagons. And it's kind of scary I HAVE to have it in four wheel drive (on gravel roads) or it takes forever to get it going. And believe me after skidding through a couple of intersections I need a lot of stopping distance. again on gravel but pavement isn't much better......... Absolutely no tonque weight..

8100 dry will put you WAY over the limit if you want to carry anything. Its pretty easy to add more than 900 #s to a trailer when your going camping.
