Seat/lumbar support cracking/popping

I think the lumbar support in my seat is breaking, there is a fairly loud crack/popping sound on accel/decel or when shifting around in the seat. Anyone else have this problem?

Take it to the dealer and get it fixed.

On occasion, I've had some popping/cracking sounds in my '04 but never got the impression that it was coming from the lumbar support. In my case, I think this was coming from under the seat, typically upon acceleration after a relatively hard stop. For whatever reason, it seemed to stop.

On the other hand, the parchment color on the leather that covers (or shall I say partially covers) my seat, is almost completely worn through right on the lumbar support. I'm not real happy with that since I've only had it since Sept '03 but will have it taken care of when I bring the truck into the dealership for some minor warranty work.

Yes, it happens to me when I get out of the vehicle, like the side bolster is broken.
