I had a Gibson side exit (ahead of the wheel) system on my '97 Scab, but only for awhile. Claustrophobic rear seat passengers that opened the swing-windows couldn't tolerate the sound and fumes. I was much more pleased with the split rear dual Magna-flow system in those respects. I noted that the Corsa system (thread below) exits aft of the wheel.

My Borla kit is in andhave a quick question. The front pipe (to the catalytic converter and muffler) for the Supercab appears to be the one with the shorter hook for the muffler hanger by the instructions. But in one of the pictures on this site, it appears that the longer hook was used on a Supercab. The instructions call the short hook a 9 incher and the double bar hook a 12 incher. Can you shed some light on this? Thanks.
P.S. I know I could just play with the two pipes to see which one fits better, but I'm the guy who bought the Maganflow (Lightning look alike) system and after I have the stock system off and I am wrestling with the new one I find that the hanger is off resulting in a 6 1/2 offset from muffler to catalytic converter. So yes, I admit it, I am gunshy and want to know all before I get under the truck. Thanks again

It takes the longer one, I did the same double take last week when I installed mine but I couldn't get the short one to line up with the hanger.

Make sure you have a little soap or something to lube up the hangers to get them out, that was the hardest part of the install.

Also make sure to look at the pipes are aligned with each other before you tighten up from the muffler back.

Have fun, it just sounds great.

Anybody have any close-up pics of the Borla exhaust I can check out? Thinking about getting some for myself.

I really enjoyed YellowFX4SCrew's pics under his New Mods gallery.

I'll take pics of mine after I get it installed. Currently, I'm waiting on the kit to arrive.
