Daystar's Comfort Ride kit information
Here is some information on the Daystar leveler kit from Four Wheeler magazine.
Daystar 2.5 inch F150 leveler:
Rated lift: 2 inches
Maximum tire size: 33-inch (18x8 whell, 5-inch backspace) 35-inch
Trimming required: None with 33-inch tires. Likely with certain 35-inch tires.
notes: Daystar's 2-inch Comfort Ride kit consists of a pair of Durathane polyurethane spacers-one per side. The 2-inch lift levels the truck and allows tires up to 35 inches to be fitted without rubbing. Daystar specificall recommends a 33/12.5R-18 tire with the wheel noted above as having very good results. Daystar used poly spacers because they transmit less NVH ( noise Vibration and Harshness). This kit takes about an hour to install with ordinary handtools.(And a heavy duty spring compressor)
