2004 F-150's Have Door Problems

I found this while searching for other info about the vibration problem. What I want to know is: if Ford has been telling dealers about this, how come they are denying the problem to some of you guys? They make money from Ford for warranty work, and I would hope that they don't want any pi$$ed off customers ... what gives?!

Its been noted by 1 or 2 members here.

Seems to be a fairly rare occurence.

I had the door problem on my right rear door. Door would get stuck and you had to fight to get it to open from outside or inside. When you did get it to open, you had to fight to get it closed as the latch would not catch. Took ti back to the dealer and they had to replace the locking assembly.

I am now having problems witht he LR door opening from the inside. You have to use the power door locks to unlock it or it will nto open from inside. Just pulling the lock up won't work.

Will be taking it back in to have ford look at this lock as well

Hmmmm I may have this problem. I thought it was the child safety locks, and I was too lazy to read the manual to figure it out. Time to get this nailed down.
