tow test tomorrow
I go to the lake and pull my boat about 10min. to the ramp it is a 2004 BAJA 29 OUTLAW with twin 496mags and a triple axel trailer. It weighs a little over 8500lbs I will let yall know how the Mighty F150 yanks it!!

Looking forward to hearing about it! I've just got a little 17' Bass Tracker--not even a challenge for the F150. Yours sounds like it'll be a great test of the truck's towing ability. Could you post the options you got with your truck?

thosetwins, I would love to see a pic of your truck pulling that Baja. Good luck and let us know how it goes.
I have a little towing to do this weekend also. 2000 miles on I-95 from Maryland to Florida and back. I did the same trip back in December and my truck was outstanding. On the trip back I got 12.6 mpg with most of my driving at 75-80 mph. My 21' Ranger weighs around 4000#.

Dusty I will post pics of truck and boat behind it. The options on truck Lariat 4x2 3.73 LS, Screw,heated seats,BLack leather trim capt. chairs flow thru shift, , 6 changer CD, power seats (both) Color white, Trailer tow pkg. Factory running boards should be in today installed tomorrow. Will let you know results....

Thanks for the info. Sounds like we have a similar setup, except I've got the 4x4. The LS should help a great deal. I picked up the 4x4 since a lot of ramps around here (VA) are very slick. Have fun!

Big tow
All F150 owners should be proud the F150 pulled 9000lbs fine I wont hesitate to take it on the longer trips I go on 4-6 times a year between 2-5 hrs. Pulled like a champ got that big load moving no problem. You definatly knew it was there but pulled true and straight and the ramp was fairly steep no worries!!! Here are a pic or two
