Anyone out there hear of any current production problems with the DVD player? My build date keeps getting pushed back and the only thing I can tghink of is the DVD player is holding it up. I didn't ordewr the Chrome tubes, so I know it wasn't that.

You guys who work in the plant putting these fine trucks together, are you seeing trucks go through with DVD players? I heard that they aren't making anymore 2004s with the DVD players and wanted to get any kind of confirmation that this is true or false.

i remember hearing that ford was installing the DVD players quicker than they can order them, but that was like over a month ago, id think they would have that solved by now. dunno if they encountered another supply problem of some other parts

 

I just found out that the information I received last week about the dvd entertainment system was not correct. My dealership had their regional director call the Kansas City plant and see if any trucks are being built with the dvd system. They stated that supplies were VERY limited, but THEY ARE BUILDING THEM. NO PROBLEMS WITH THE SYSTEMS, JUST NOT ENOUGH. They should be getting a large order of the dvd systems in very soon, and should speed up production of the trucks with them......

I am hoping that this information is correct and that all of us with the trucks with dvd systems get them soon!
