I have a chrome Lariat Grill that I would like to swap for a Chrome XLT grill. Anyone interested, Indiana area.

 

XLT grills don't come with the Chrome surround. The surrounds on the XLT grills come painted to match the truck's body color. See this thread for the available factory grills: https://www.f150online.com/forums/sh...hreadid=147401

You could keep the chrome surround from the Lariat grill and just replace the Nickel honeycomb with black honeycomb from an XLT.

I must have written my post wrong: What I want is a chrome surrond with the "BAR" style grill.

I have a Chrome surround with the Lariat "eggcrate" style grill which I would like to trade.

I hope that clears this up, Is anyone interested now?

It's still too early on a Monday for me. I was incorrect on my earlier post...you actually can get an XL grill, which has the chrome surround and black honeycomb...but I don't believe that the bar style grill comes stock with a chrome surround for any model...

I've seen pictures of this type of grill: i.e. Chrome surround with the black bars.

 

Chrome surround with the black bars will only be available in the King Ranch version.

Check your 2004 F-150 brochure. The chrome surround with bar style grill is standard on the XL. Bar style comes standard on XL, STX and FX4, but the STX and FX4 grill surround is painted.
