Im getting my new truck soon (I hope). I plan to use if for occasional travel trailer towing and want to know if any of you have used slip on towing mirrors on your 04. If so, what have you used and how well do they work? Thanks is advanced for any help.

 

I contacted **** Mirrors about this. They do not have a slip on like I have for my 2001 F-150 and they referred me to this website. I do not like these as much as the old ones but I may not have a choice. Also you might check ot Camping World Or Camper's choice for some inexpensive generic strap on mirrors.

Im intrested in this also for my snowmobile trailer, in Fords 04 F-150 accessories guide it shows tow mirrors and lists a base part number 17696. Im going to call my dealer and see how much they are.

 

I'm pretty sure those in the 04 accessory catalog are for the 04 "Heritage Edition" F150 only.

 

Thats not good hopefully they will hae some soon.
