paging 04 RED LARIAT

Finally responding to some questions you asked me in a previous post. Sorry it took so long, but I have been busy dreaming up some new deductions for my tax returns. Dog food is deductible isn't it?

You asked; "Did you have your bug deflector painted on the front and back side or just the back side?"

The bug deflector is only painted on the back side. I love the way it looks. The view from the front has a nice glossy appearance, and matches the rest of the truck perfectly.

You asked; "Where do you ride atvs at?
Have you ever rode on the hatfield mccoy trail in west va?
We will be riding there april 11-13 if you want to join us.

My neighbors and I usually ride in the woods surrounding our neighborhood, go to a friend-of-a-friends farm, or make a weekend trip to Natural Bridge once in a while. We used to ride alot at Livingston. Man, that was an awesome place. They closed Livingston some time last year. I guess it was only a matter of time, there were always a bunch of knuckleheads down there trying to kill themselves {and a few succeeded}. We have been talking about the Hatfield McCoy lately. Thanks for the invite to ride with ya, but I'll have to pass this time. I already have a couple of weekends planned in April to go to Cumberland for some fishing. Post some pics of your trip. What kind of atv do you ride?

How do you like the Arctic Cat ATV? I am shopping for a Polaris Sportsman 500 or a Honda Rancher 400 4X4.

I like it alot! It rides nice with the 4 wheel IS. It has selectable 4WD, hi - low - and super low range in all gears. It runs good through the trails, creeks and mud. My neighbors have ; 250 4x4 Arctic Cat, (2) 300 4x4 Arctic Cats, 400 4x4 Arctic Cat, and a Polaris 325 2x4. No major problems with any of them. I also looked at a Honda Rancher before I bought my AC, but the Honda was too much $ for what I was able to spend at the time. I would like to get a newer model in the near future, but I'll have to do alot of beggin' to the wife since I just got the truck.

Thanks for the reply.

I had a friend that went to livingston almost every weekend but I never did get to go with him.

I have a honda rincon 650 (pic in my gallery)

Btw. your bug deflector looks great I just couldnt decide how to paint mine. I had one on a 98 lariat and it was painted front and back but I think just the back would be much better.

I really like the 650 Rincon!! I didn't see any pictures of it in your gallery? Can you post some please. Dealers up here want $11,500 CDN. I found a demo with 380K on it the add say's $1300 off.

I actually looked a Rincon on the weekend but it was in the crate could not really see it that well. I can get a 2004 Polaris Sportsman 500 for $8,200 plus tax.

The Rincon is nice, however I own an Arctic Cat 650 Limited ATV, cat green with aluminum rims, modified kicka## air filter, and jetted down, nothing can touch it! I worked nights at the Polaris factory in Spirit Lake, IA while I was in college. Sorry polaris fans, but not to high of a quality standard over there!

I think I might be leaning toward the Honda Rancher 400 4X4 Automatic (yellow). They want $200 more for the GPS feature. I grew up at a Polaris dealership my parents owned a marina so I got to know Polaris well along with Mercury Outboards. I like the Sportsman alot I just don't like that it's belt driven! That sucks especially when the belt gets wet. The Honda is shaft driven.

I also like the Suzuki Vinson 500 that seems like a nice looking bike! The Arctic Cat atv's don't do anything for me? The 650 they have has way too much green on it! Arctic Cat makes the best performance snowmobiles though.

I plan on buying mid summer I think or earlier.

Sorry the link for my album is just for the truck, the rincon is in another album.

Here is a picture of my rincon on a rock overlook in va.

I picked up my rincon for 6399.00 almost a year ago and now have close to 5000 miles on it.
I have front and rear bumpers, pioneer cd player, and storage bag on it.
I also puts jets in the carb, kandn airfilter and big gun exhaust on.
Its pretty quick now.

Where do you ride at natural bridge? What info do I need to ride there? I am in woodbridge, just outside northern va. I normally ride on some property I have over in Maryland or there are some great trails on the power lines. I have a 02 Suzuki DRZ-400e and looking four a sporty part-time 4wheel drive atv in the 350-500cc range for my fiancee. I liked the wolverine but it is full time fourwheel. Need to look at a bruin a bit more. Any suggestions?

Adam
