? about running bars--help?

Looking for advice......I went to my dealer to buy a set of running bars.....I got to looking at their brochure with all of their accessories and I found a set of bars that I REALLY, REALLY want but they were shown under the section for the 2004 heritage model. My question is,,,,,, does anyone know if the frame on a heritage supercab would differ from my FX4 supercab, or do you think there is a chance that they would fit my truck?
I even thought about ordering both the set for the heritage (and try to see if they will fit) AND the ones listed for my fx (that I don't like as well)..........
But I thought maybe someone might know if the frames are the same.......I just can't see them making two differant frames, but I could easily be wrong.

The frame on the Heritage is the same as an 03. So yes they are different than the new boxed frame on the new body style 04. Also the new 04s are 6" longer for each body style than the Heritage and previous models. My guess would be that they wont fit your truck.

Also, the step bars are not frame mounted. They are mounted to a lip on the body.

Thanks for the replies...... That ended up being a not so smart question.........
I thought that all the '04's were the new body stlye, but after some looking around, I see that the heritage is the "old" body style.....did not know that.

The only "not so smart question" is one not asked. If you learned anything from asking, then I say it was a great question. I would also think learning this saved you some time and money also. I think I can speak for most people on here, that if we can help anyone in any way we will. I know I have learned a lot at the hands of others here, and am willing to pass on anything I have learned first hand or from others experience. Thanks to all.
