I just applied for a Ford Motor Credit loan today (my truck is supposed to be delivered tomorrow) and they gave me an additional $500 off the top. I used the X-plan but I don't know if the $500 is limited to the X,A,D plans. All I know is itcomes from Ford Motor Credit and it comes off your final price and does not matter if you take the $1000 rebate or the low interest. It lowered my payment about $9 a month. I hope my truck is waiting on me when I get off work!!

roger4068,

You say you applied for Ford Motor Credit today. May I ask where you applied? At the dealer? Online? Also said they gave me $500 off the top. Who is they? Was this a line that was already added to the application or was this something the dealer added?

I am sure others would like to know.

I applied for the loan at my dealer here in Texas. We knew the truck was due in today because they called the shipper in Dallas. "They" I guess would be Ford Motor Credit. I just got back from picking up my truck and signing the paper work. The $500 was definitely was taken off the top.

Picked up my new regular cab FX4 today. I got Z plan (retiree's A plan) from my retired dad. $26825 minus $500 from Ford minus another $1000 rebate from Ford minus ANOTHER $1000 they are giving retirees to use or give to family members for a total of $2500 off of the A-Z plan price to bring it down to $24325 plus tax, title etc. By taking the $1000 rebate, instead of 1.9% APR for 5 years, I got 3.9% for 5 years which works out to be a better deal overall.

Thumbs up

I got an additional $500 cash back for the 'D' plan plus the $1000 on a SCAB like what is posted on Ford's webpage. The sales dude claimed that the plan incentive was just added in the last few days. I assumed he meant it applies to 'A' and 'X' plans as well.

I just spoke with my dealer...

Right now I am at 3.9 for 60 months and $500 cash for the X plan.

It should be here next week.

You better have your dealer check again. I got mine on Tuesday and got 1.9% interest and $500! The $500 is new but the 1.9 was instead of $1000 rebate. My payment worked out cheaper that way.

Ok the 500 rebate for Xplan customers is there. Just make sure you ask your dealer to pull a Vincent (or whatever its called). It will show up on that report.
