Tire Brands???

Am I the only one that got my truck with Continental, Contitracks, mounted on it?? The dealship I got it from has 73 F150's on the lot and not one of them has Continental tires. Nobody on the boards has mentioned them either?? Just wondering...

The P255 Continental is offered on vehicles built in Kansas City, while the P255 Michelin is available only on vehicles built in Norfolk, VA. Both tire 4x2 only and very similar in behavior.

Enjoy!

My XLT Supercab came with Hankook Dynapro AS tires.
I've never heard of them.
Anyone know anything about this brand?

Hankook

as400Pro:
Same with my XLT (Hankook)..... I was going to swap them the first few days, but they were riding so smooth, and handled well in the rain, so I decided to try them for a while.

I researched them a bit on the net (Korean tire maker been around a while and making highly rated racing tires, and truck tires, as well as making tires for OEM)

Wear rating 440 and load of 2200 lbs. put them ahead of the Michelin XL? (P) and also comparitive Goodyear GSA's.... they seem to have some decent ratings. Good guarantee (50K), They come out and change your flats too!

I'm coming off a Cherokee that I ran with BF Goodrich AT KO... that were strong, and hard.... so I'm enjoying the smoothness, and handling. I was thinking of going up a size.... but whenever I went to larger sizes in the past, I seemed to get poorer handling, and more road vibrations.... I think larger tires telescope everything on the road more.... (they sure look good though).

Love the ride I have now.... I would like to here what others say.

Joe

Thanks for the info Clicker.
I have no complaints about the tires, just had not previously heard of them.
As you mentioned, they ride smooth and have handled well in the rain.
