oval step bars verse running boards

how do you guys like your oval step bars and your running boards, and any comments comparing the two to each other. Do the stock chrome oval step bars have the black plasctic inserts on the top of them to prevent slipping.Thats the one concession I'm making to my wife in that she wants something to help her get in and out, and I am wondering which appears less obtrusive and better looking.

Also have the bright oval step bars. I and my wife love them, and yes on the textured plastic on top to make them slip resistant. You can also see mine in my gallery.

I have the Westin stainless steel premium tubes and love them. Went for the higher end to avoid the rusting I've had on previous trucks. Also have the Putco stainless steel rails to match. ..See gallery
