Arrow Believe it or not!!

Guy's, I went to a local tire store today to price a set of mich. for my wife's tribute,(Those noisy, loud, roaring continienals has got to go ),any way out of curiousty I asked the store manager how much a set of tire's would be for my 2004 FX4,18"wheel's would be.He made a phone call and a guy got on the internet and here's what they said, for P275,75r 18,mich,Ltz tire's,"I hope that's the rightsize,I can't remember", Now get this,$109 a piece,Plus a 50 dollar rebate before the end of march. Man if there wasn't a exporation date I would buy them and put them up. You did know there was a date, did'nt you,how you think PepBoys sells tires so cheap? At least that's what a trooper friend of mine said.

That's a great price.
If you spray the unmounted tire, inside and out, with silicone spray it will protect the rubber for a long time. Just have to remember to keep a good coat on them. Store them in bags (you can get them from the tire store), but don't lay them down.
I stored a set of 4 BFG mud-terrain tires for 4 years that way. When I was ready to use them, I just wiped them off and had them mounted.

Tires

Check those tires out at
www.tirerack.com
They are defiantely not all terrain, summer road driving maybe.
I didnt see a weight rating on them.
As heavy as these trucks are it seems like you would want at least a 6 ply C or greater.
Just my 2¢

Phillips,
I don't know about the exp. date. The only thing I can figure is it's for the warrantee. See what they say at the tire store.
