It sounds like something might wrong. The only time I mess with mine is when I need the defroster to clear the windows. What happens when you put it in auto mode?

Speaking of auto temp control: Does anyone know if it is possible to switch a manual temp control with an auto control unit? While I was installing my stereo, I noticed that the controls are attached by a harness, and was wondering if the harness would work with an automatic unit. Or maybe I should have gotten that originally...

No Problemo

04 Lariat Screw. My auto temp work great. Start up the truck on a cold morning and the system instead of blowing cold air right away (like my former 01), first warms up a bit and then starts the warm air flow. Nice feature.

Ours works great. It's one of the things I like best and I doubt I'll ever buy another vehicle without it. Before the new Lariat, I used to be fiddeling with the temp and fan controls always searching for the right spot. Now, I don't even think about it. I get in the truck, turn on the heated seats and relax.
