Wondering if anyone knows what the factory window tint on the front doors is rated at?

I'm moving to Alaska and will be changing the registration over to there and their law is 70% light allowed through the front door windows, which is pretty light, and I was curious if it would be possible to put some tint on them to get closer to that limit.

I don't believe it is dark enough to rate? I think you can get 35% film and it rates 35 evemn on the window.

20% is whats on the truck now, 15% is the lightest you can buy i think, 35% is heavier. I got my truck done on the front windows, 20% matched the closest, oh and it is illegal here as well, but cops don't bother ya.

 

only if you are carrying drugs anyway? lol
