Ya should be able to slide out of your seat however you want for the first 11,000 miles and they should not look like that!

 

Took my truck to the dealers today and was little worried. When I looked closer at the seat it looks more like a cut and they agreed. They said it was kinf of a gray area and since I only have 1500 miles on it , they are ordering a replacement. I can't complain about that at all.
