what is JOB#2

looking online at dealer inventory, some new Ford stickers for F150s and F250s say "JOB#2 BUILD IDENTIFIER" or "JOB#2 ORDER" in the options list.

what is this referring to?

an authority over at TDS gave this answer:

Job 1 was the first trucks they built at the first of the model year.

Job 2 is the first major assembly-line change to the model year production. For 2004s, it probably means the changes made to comply with calendar year 2004 EPA emissions requirements. If I remember right, Job 2 production began some time in October or November, 2003.
