The only problem i have is the amount of disc brake dust on the front rims, drives me nuts black within 2 days of cleaning them.
other than that, im knockin on wood, 1000 miles and no signs of the problems ive been reading about in this post.

Seriously....

I spent $50 on a tank of gas this weekend. It's worth it

Brake dust seems to be a pretty big problem across the boards with various Ford products.

I know the Expy guys are always griping about this same thing and I've noted NUMEROUS Expys on the road that have shiny rear rims and BLACK front rims due to dust.

Anyone make the switch to ceramic?

04 Lariat Scab - I was at the point of asking the dealer to replace my truck because of steering nibble and vibration problems. Service manager asked if I still wanted a Ford and I said yes. However, Ford engineer wanted another shot at fixing it. Got it back today with new tires and he said they added shims to the drive shaft to cure the vibration problem. So far, so good. Build date is 07/03

Problems so far:
1) Inaccurate temps - flashed it with new version
2) Recirculation problem - replaced EATC
3) Rear end shudder - replaced clutches
4) Steering nibble - replaced steering gear, front hubs and finally tires (along with a couple of alignments and balancings)
5) Vibration at 45 to 50 mph - driveshaft shims
6) Loose headliner - liner put back in place

Picked up the truck today and on the way home heard the dreaded rattle from the back seat area. Sigh...
