My dealer is the best!!!
Ya gotta love the guy!
It is so nice to do business with a dealer in a small community. You can walk right into the owners office and sit down and just BS with him about anything.
The owner, my salesman and I were just having a nice visit about different things. I mentioned something about the fact that I couldn't decide if I wanted to use my X plan PIN or not when my truck arrives in a week or so.
(If I don't use it, I would be buying the truck at invoice price anyway, so the X plan would only save me about $100.)
Here's the good part!!!
Out of the clear blue sky the owner of the dealership says, "I've been saving something for you" as he is looking through his files. He says "I've only got two of these, and I can give them to whoever I please, and I've saved one for you and one for another guy that has been waiting almost as long as you have for your truck to arrive".
He digs a little deeper into his file, "Ah here it is" he says as he pulls it out.
WAY COOL!!!!! A certificate good for another $500 bucks off of the price of the truck!!!!!!!

The dealer i bought my truck from sucks!
I bought my truck on a saturday, took almost the whole day, and left thinking i did a pretty good job of negotiating, was satisfied with the price.
Opened the newpaper the following saturday, and saw they were selling the same truck (exact same) for about 5000.00 less!!
It was one of those ads that said "10 at this price"
04 F150 Supercab 4.6, 3.55 LS, fog lamps, tow package, large tires.
I bought my truck on a saturday, took almost the whole day, and left thinking i did a pretty good job of negotiating, was satisfied with the price.
