Qewbi question
Those F150s were "display" vehicles, not Ford-sponsored "concept" vehicles. Some of the former were purchased for $1.00 from Ford to display aftermarket products for the retail trade and don't reflect any officail direction of the vehicle manufacturer. Conversely, a Ford "concept" vehicle appearing on the auto show circuit may reflect future changes in a production vehicle if the public's reaction is judged favorable.

The Ford execs were busy writing in their little notebooks and the car never went into production.
I remember one of them asking me,"What was it, the interior or the exterior?"
I said, "Huh?".
