'New' Delays in SCrew Order??
I ordered a 2004 Lariat SCrew on 12/3. No VIN yet, been taking the delays in stride based on all the threads here and taking into account the Christmas/New Year break. But...just had my dealer tell me that my "...end of February" delivery is now 7 weeks out due to a backlog of orders and some mumbo jumbo about shutting down the plant to build more SCrews (makes no sense...). Just wanted to see if anyone had any insight into this or could tell me there's a chance there's some truth here. Anyone get the feeling I don't trust car salesman

ok, so no ordering screws for a while, take what the dealers have. that wait is ridiculous. i would have cancelled my order if it took more than 2 months. if i were you id check out every dealer nearby and find something you want from them.
jeez! i cant beleive it takes well over 3 months to even get the truck built.

I ordered my FX4 the same time as you fishin.
No vin or build date for me either.
My salespersons excuse is the dvd entertainment system I ordered. He said they are not building them unit March with this option, so I will get mine in April sometime.
