Vibration

Is anyone getting a vibration in the steering wheel at highway speeds.......like the tires need balancing. If so what have you done about it?

I have done everyting & a Ford field tech has looked at my truck twice and he stated that is the way the truck is. I'm looking at aftermarket stabilizers. Good luck I have heard that from a few people

I have a slight vibration at 45-50mph but I don't feel it in the steering wheel...it feels like it's coming from the floor of the truck or the heater mechanism...
I did test drive an F-150 that had the steering wheel vibration your referring to though...the wheel vibrated so much that it moved around...Describe your vehicle...5.4L, LSD, build date, etc?

My build date is 6/03 FX4, 5.4, 18" wheels, 3:73 gears, you would think for the price ( MSRP $ 36,000.00 ) it would be smooth as silk, but mybe I expect to much

Thanks Mike,

Looks like I'm not the only one with this problem, I wonder what they did to fix the trucks made after 8/20/03

where do you get that info?

Dr. No,
Where can you get/see that info about service bulletins? Are you aware of any concerning electronic throttle control light / problems? Thanx

I had the same problem. The service dept. machined the rotors and now the vibration is gone.
