As I said earlier, this is not a money making venture.

If we can make a quality part and stay under the $100 umbrella than we'll keep it small and some guys on this site will be very happy.

Thats about as far as it will go - my life is already busy enough.

sorry about the multiple posts. the server was having all kinds of issues. craziness...

anyway, Ramb, that interior is nasty. it looks like something out of a bad sci fi movie, but thanks for showing us the shifter you mentioned.

I would drive myself and my truck over a large cliff if my interior looked as horrid as that.

What are those things on top of the dash.... jet exhausts??

I'm definitely interested. What about the chrome ring that is around the console? That would be another candidate for billet, and would go well with the shifter.

Most definitely count me in.... Its funny, I posted my thoughts on the shifter back in early January, but didnt have the time or wherewithall to follow through.

Billet, with or without leather would be excellent. I dont like this cheapy plastic thing at all.

Mine's not a floor shift, but I have a billet column shifter. I made this cover and button tonight at work. I plan to make one for the turn signal lever too.

I wasn't able get the outer sleeve to slide down (step one in the procedure). It twists a bit, but that doesn't seem to matter.

I'm afraid if I force it, its gonna break.

Can you put yours in neutral and see if slides down gently?

I have to take it in for the limited slip clutch pack replacement next Tuesday so I was going to talk to the service department about it then.

Let me know if yours slides down easily.

I would be more than happy too.... but I don't have my truck yet.

It should be nearing the end of the assembly line any day and will hopefully be heading west shortly thereafter.
