Releasing Feb 2004, cost will most likely be around 3k. Be nice if I had the cash for it. Hope somone installs one and posts their Dyno results.

I doubt it will be around $3,000 with the intercooler. I know what I'm going to start saving for. I knew I regret trading my Lightning in, but this may be the cure for my depression, plus I'll have 4WD.

I just got the new Truckin' Magazine and low and behold this supecharger kit is on one of the Street Scene SEMA F-150's. They said they sent it to Whipple and had them install the SC kit. When they got it back, they put a Gibson full exhaust kit and K&N air filter on it. Are you sitting down for this one, It made 445 HP and 600 FT/LB of torque!
And yes it sounds like the exact same set up as the kit coming out in Feb. It was running off of 8 psi, the Gibson full exhaust kit and K&N air filter only. That is a gain of 145 HP and 235 FT/LB!!! Need I say more.

Right after the Whipple SC was unveiled at the SEMA Show we had an interesting discussion on the subject here. Another pic there too.

I would definitely opt for the intercooled offering. I suspect the price tag will be more like five grand+. Suppose some here would consider adding a heater exchange (like red04 discussed in his SC thread) as well. Beefing the tranny should probably get some consideration as well. I do know the Performance West Group SEMA truck (the silver one with the Xenon body kit) had a Kenne Bell SC and they did mention beefing the tranny, but did not give details about such mods. I have no idea who has such parts; maybe from the SVT parts bin? FWIW, Whipple was Ford's OEM supplier of SC for the GT-40. This SC would be an awesome mod!
