hey guys whats up!

my first post!
i fell in love with the new F-150 once i drove it and am now in the market--i have enjoyed reading yalls posts

i have read some of the buying info and i am eligible for the X-plan pricing

but what is the deal with the ordering? it seems a lot of people here are ordering...i know that way you are assured what you want, but does it cost more? and is anyone eligible for that?

i found one here at my dealer that i am interested in, but there are some tings i would want on it it doesnt have--so is ordering the way to go?

i am looking for a Lariat/FX4 super crew with the floor grears,but anyway, ill see what yall have to say about ordering ....

Yes, anyone can order a vehicle and it doesn't affect the pricing at all, especially "The Plans" (A/Z/D/X). Once the dealer puts in everything you want, including the options, he should get the pricing on the DORA, along with Plan prices.

 

Price is not affected. You have to wait a few weeks, but it's worth it if you get exactly what you want. Don't be impatient and settle.

 

wow! had no clue! no price difference at all? obviously to the MSRP--but the Xplay counts too! nice--now i need to wait till an incentive is offered and act!

any clue about any incentives on the 04's? prolly have to wait closer to summer --but that will be more realistic on my budget!

They may be offering some, but with everything I've seen, they've been excluding Super Crews. So if that's what you want, you may be waiting a while.

Also, if you order, you get the incentive that is offered the day you pick it up. Not the day you order.

 

I bought mine the week before Christmas. The dealer here had a $1000 rebate as well as a $500 holiday bonus. I got the X-plan too, and this $1500 was off of that preice. Don't let them tell you that you can't do both. Tell the dealer that you'll order it today if they give you the same (or better) offer as above. They shouldn't have a problem with that. I also got 2.9% financing for 60 months. You're going to love your truck! Order EXACTLY what you want.
