Question 18" lariat wheels

Does anyone know where I can get information on how wide of tires will fit on the stock lariat rims or how wide the lariat rims are. If so could you give me a website or something?

Do a search on tire sizes and or daystar lifts. I got it there.

the wheels do not specify a tire size. tires specify a wheel size. knowing that the 18s are 7.5 inches wide, you can shop around for tires that will fit that size. to be quite honest, you won't find many, especially if you are looking for an off-road tire. there aren't many 18 inch tires for off road and they most certainly don't go on narrow wheels.

the BFG MTs are not supposed to be mounted on a wheel that narrow. BFG specifies 8.5-11 inch rims for those tires. see here.

The tires referrenced in that thread are BFG All Terrains...285/65/18's, they WILL fit the STOCK LARIAT 18" RIMS with an overall size of 33".

Your rim size is not the "recommended" rim width, but you can probably do it. The only problems you may have will tire wear; they just may not last as long.
