4dsr4me,

What did you pay for the SS bug deflector? What is the brand name? Lund is supposed to be coming out with one but they cannot tell me when it will be out. I keep getting the same "we don't know....keep checking back" answer everytime I call.

Thanks,

Steve

Hood vibration

Another thread I saw mentioned the addition of some bug deflectors appears to possibly cause hood vibrations. Lund was one of the brands discussed. The one "brand" that seemed not to cause much vibration was the low profile one offered by Ford dealers. I am insterested to see how the SS version performs. Keep us posted please.

I have the high profile Ford Bug Defelector and have been very happy with it. Looks good, no vibrations, matches well with my black truck. Oh yeah, I ordered it in the morning and picked it up at lunch time. Unlike my order for the Extang and Bedrug which took forever.

4dsr4me,

Thanks for the reply. Hope you get your truck soon and get the Lund installed. I am dying for mine and it's only been a few weeks, not nearly as long as most of the folks here. Maybe you'll hear something soon!

Thanks again,

Steve
