Outside Temp Gage

When I left for work today the outside tempature was 4 deg. When I arrived at work my gage read 0 deg. With the wind chill -15 deg. My question is does the gage show a minus sign for temps below zero? Maybe you guys that live in the far NE could answer.

TIA,
Tom

sub zero

I'm sure it does.
I have a 01 and it goes below 0.
I can't see them changing it.

Its been below 0 (celcius) up here since I got the truck in mid November. Temp gauge does work.

Its not all that bad man. Think about it, its colder so there are NO bugs, which in turn means your truck stays cleaner & longer unless salt is thrown on the roads

Until summer when there are bugs the size of choppers and the humidity is 100%

Thank you. You answered my question. I just hope it doesn't get that cold here.

Hey we had -36 last Monday morning, 7am, here in Western Montana. Sorry but I don't have a temp gauge on my package. Once its below freezing, you need a coat.

If you live any place like that, yall are crazy.

I love Texas weather. I can deal with the heat. Humans weren't meant to live in anything below 0. It's just insane.

Sometimes I get sick of the bugs, but northern and western texas is a lot better.

I'm just the opposite. I'll take a few extreme cold days verses the months of extremely hot muggy. How can you get away from that heat? Live inside with the AC? As long as one has the good clothing, cold isn't bad at all. I was just cross country skiing the day before in minus 15 weather with just a layering of a t-shirt, sweatshirt, and a light feece jacket. Add a pair of long underwear under my wranglers and some gloves I was good to go as long as we did not sit around. I guess one won't survive without the proper clothing in extreme cold for very long and I suppose one can last longer in that heat, but not too much longer without water and cover.

I liked the fact that it was 80 degrees here in South Pasadena yesterday.

Winter? What's that?

You're right! That is cold especially since there is wind. Sask has nothing to block that wind either.

Haku, I'm over in Butte. The -36 reading was in town at the airport just a few miles from my house. I bet Kalispel has been getting the snow as well as the low temps. I was planning doing some X-country skiing on that Monday, but I figured the temps would be similar to Polebridge. When temps are approaching 20 below, recreation isn't much fun. Its downright balmy again this week, 29 today, 34 yesterday.

Truck of Doom, its never cold enough down there to keep the crime down at night. Don't you wish you had seasons? It's typically 90's in the summer and 80's in the winter surrounded by lots of mid to high 70's. I guess when a winter front comes through the weather momentarily drops the temps into the 50 and 60's, but how often is that? Sorry.
