ordered my first truck on 12/5

was told it would be built the week of 1/12, and delivered by the begining of february.

got a vin number the other day, and was hoping someone could check it for me.

Unfortunately I don 't have any news about your truck. I was just wondering if you had received any updated info from the dealer.

I ordered my lariat scab on 12/9. I haven't asked them to do a VIN check, cuz I want to be surprised when that sweet ride comes in. I know it was kind of a weird time to order a truck because the plant was closing on 12/24 til 1/04.

talked to the dealer today!

confirmed production beginning the week of 1/12.

should have the truck in three weeks.

2004 XLT, SCab, 4X4, 6.5', 5.4L, 3.55 LSD, Skid Plates, 35.7 Tank

 

thanks for the update. that time frame sounds too good to be true.

it seems like all the posts are giving a delivery time of 10-12 weeks on average. I'm hoping that since they have been building the trucks for a while now, they are banging them out of the assembly plant faster than when they first began producing them.
