I'm a new user to this web page and I was wondering how to get the vin number to check up on my truck? Order was placed on 12/13/03. This is a great forum with lots of good info. Keep up the good work.

 

You need to contact your sales person for this info.

Just called the dealer and he says it hasn't moved yet. He said it was delayed because of the Christmas Holidays. I guess I'll have to keep waiting.

I ordered my FX4 on the same date as yours.... I have no VIN either...Yet jeffro7172 ordered his on the 15th and he has a VIN already (I believe his is a reg cab)

Let me know when you get your VIN.... I want to keep track of any shinanagans with my dealer.... so far I'm not pleased with my deal.

Mine is a supercab. i was wondering about that too. the date on mine was the date I sat down and ordered it with the salesperson. She also told me it will be built the 19th of this month. I'm hoping she's right. Good luck to you guys getting the VIN's! Also my dealer showed me a printout they get every day with their vehicles on it, status etc, so if your dealers get those printouts, they should be updated every day

Then your scab and my FX4 Scab should be built in the same plant...
I contacted my dealer yesterday, no sign of VIN. I will wait until next monday before I start with the WTF's.

I just read a "VIN please" thread today (forget which one) its been 12 weeks since his order and just got a VIN ... it still isn't built.

I only agreed on ordering one because they said 8 weeks but not to start counting until after New Year....

I'm gonna be right pissed if it still isn't built after 12 weeks!!!!!

Hey guys....

My dealer says mine is coming out of Norfolk, VA. I don't know if that makes a difference or not. I have a FX4 Scab on order too. This Sat will be the 4 week mark. With Christmas and all I think I'm looking at 12 weeks at the least.

 

"cleaned and unscheduled" since Dec. 11th.

Hoping to get vin soon.
