97 with the tailgate up. ? with the tailgate down. I'll check it again when the hard tonneau is installed.

On the dyno, my Lariat cut off at 97 mph twice - this is according to the dynojet, not the speedo.

Wonder how you guys are getting so fast... All the 2004 F-150's have a governor that limits the top speed to 97/98MPH.

You need to give the equipment + or - 2% for error.

Cool

102 ... and it went there pretty fast too, the torque curve kept it pulling all the way till it hit the limiter

But according to the local police "radar warning sign" my speedo is about 2 mph fast at 25 so it could be faster.

Going to get the dealer to look at the speedo calibration when he hopefully repairs the "rear end shutter" and the non-lighting on one of the driver door window switches.

Thanks for the replys guys

Someone here needs to get a tuner and get that speed limiter taken out or raised way high and see what she will do

Which equipment? The Dynojet or the OEM speedo. The Dynojet is quite accurate and is used for tuning on special apps such as time trialers. Looking at a speedo doesn't account for slope, wind, temperature etc...

Either way, 102 doesn't seem likely on this truck without the limiter removed.
