I think functional

cowl hoods void your warranty. Anyone kow for sure?

I dont think that it would void the warranty, unless it allowed water in or something.

Still, damn ugly looking IMO. It totally messes up the good looks of the truck. Im not a big fan of ram air style hoods though for new vehicles. Cowl induction hoods look better. Havent seen any yet though for the 04.

I would love to see dyno numbers with big fans in front of it to simulate wind pressure at driving, similar to what they use for intercooled cars on the dyno. I saw a Volant intake for the new f-150 on Ebay numbers a re a little less then the Airaid.

Lots of hoods I like; this isn't one of them. Looks too much like the Lund Stick-on ones that everyone has these days.

That hood looks awesome cant wait to see some pics on someones truck. Ill most likely be getting a ramair hood if it doesnt void the factory warranty.
