Question only Lariat 40/20/40?

Am I the only cheap-*** to buy a Lariat Scab with the 40/20/40 leather?

It saved me some $$, plus makes a little more room when the Lab and Doberman are in the back of the Supercab.

Can you say buying on a budget?

I've got a Lariat SCrew with 40/20/40 leather. I like the bench seat, and we get little more seating room if we need it (I've got a dog and 2 kids).

The floor shifter looks nice, but I didn't think it was worth the extra money and loss of potential seat space to get it. I'm happy with my choice. (If I didn't have kids, I would have gotten a SCab instead, and would have spent more time considering the bucket seats and floor console).

I don't think there is a difference in price between the "Captains" chairs w/flow through console and the 40/20/40 seats.

I got the 40/20/40 because there are times when I need to haul 6 people. The center hump is also a good place to stow my laptop on the way to work.

By the way, if you give the front of the middle seat a yank, it comes off to reveal a little bit of storage underneath. You can also tuck the center seat belts in there if you want.

If I am not mistaken, the difference is about 600 bucks.

I just went and checked that. You're right. The MSRP on the "Captains" chairs with Flow through is $595.

My Bad...

I also have a Lariat Screw with the 40/20/40. The money was not an issue with my decision but the deciding factors to me were; an extra passenger space; the driver and passenger seat is in essence a "captain chair" and not a bench and finally the center flow through consul looks nice but it really seamed to be a whole lot of painted plastic. Even the gear shifter was very light and did not have a feel of quality to it.

I ordered the 40/20/40, and after waiting three months for my truck, it came with the wrong paint and rear-end. I'm doing a dealer locate and getting a truck with the right paint and rear, but with the floor console. There wasn't one truck in four states that matched my request for 40/20/40.

Hey fordcountry,

What specs are you looking for?

I'm in sales at a Ford dealer in Mpls...we got some F150s in stock.

What do you need (besides 40/20/40)?

I ordered the 40/20/40 seats on my Lariat Supercrew and would order them again in a heartbeat.

Thanks Josh, but I've got one coming from Lincoln, IL. It's got everything I wanted except the 40/20/40 and polished tube boards. I know my dealer (who happens to be my brothe-in-law) did check Minneapolis dealers for matching inventory. He's located in Southern Minnesota.

I ordered the flow through because I thought it looked cool and I don't really like column shifters (in fact I haven't driven a manual tranny in 11 years). I agree with you though, they really went cheap on the plastic. I'm betting the aftermarket is going to be flooded with leather wrapped shifters, billet accents, and other misc stuff for the flow through in a few months.
