Please tell me more. Yank in which direction? What are you
holding that you yank on? Thanks.

To the original thread topic. I waited for over a month till a
SCab Lariat or FX4 came in to any of the local dealers
without the center console. I did not want the floor shift or
center console - at any price. Very happy with the seats,
very happy with the truck.

Anyone else been able to remove the center 20% portion
of the 40/20/40 seats? I have yanked as hard as I dare,
without really knowing which direction to pull, or what to
pull on. No Joy.

Sit in the drivers seat, reach under the middle seat with your right hand. Pull up. Mine came out. Good place to keep stuff. I might install an inverter there being that the +12VDC is already there.
