one step closer to a super crew

I've been looking at the 04 super crews for about a month now and am just waiting for a few things to happen before I buy. My girlfriend told me that she wanted a ring before I buy a new vehicle. Rather than telling her to hit the road and going out to buy my new truck, I went out and bought her a nice shiny diamond ring. I gave it to her last night and she said "yes"! I'm hoping that I'll be enjoying my new truck before the honeymoon!

I wonder who is going to be first to tell me that now I'm screwed! LOL!

Congrats. I did the same thing before I got my Jeep. 'Cause if the wife ain't happy, nobody's happy.

Good Luck to you and the (future) Mrs.

My GF knows she isn't getting a ring until I get my truck. I'm super lucky this way.

Unless of course she takes it hostage when I pick it up.

I hope you're getting married for love, and not just so you can get a new truck without getting an earful. Girls that give you ultimatums get replaced around here.

Thumbs up

My wife of thirteen years wanted a Lincon LS.

I came home in new 04 lariat f-150 screw. I told her this was the off road version. I dont think she bought it.

She left me a note the other day. I TOOK THE LINCON LS WITH THE HEATED LEATHER SEATS TO WORK. YOU WERE SMART TO GET THE OFF ROAD VERSION BECAUSE THIS CAR FLYS OVER CURBS.

I guess I wont be driving my truck untill spring

Yes. I'm sure she'd enjoy that battle.

Off topic. Didn't I read somewhere that you were moving up this way?

Good luck and enjoy your honeymoon.

My wife got herself a little Suzuki Aerio which I also drive for my doggie.

I am Japanese but drove chevy for 150K and now a proud owner of FX4. My friend calls me "Hey, Banana-Man"....

I managed to get my truck before we got married. It was "we need to save money for the wedding". Got married, time to start on the truck, now its"we need to save for a bigger house". It never ends! But at least I have a loaded Screw. Now its snowmobile season, dont even go there..
