Unhappy Bad Fuel???

I got the best average to date when I went on a trip last Saturday.

I got 11.4 mpg on the highway. I am averaging 10.2 - 10.9 mpg. I'm just guessing that it is because of the winter mixture. I know on my car, the fuel mileage drops 4-6 mpg during the winter up here because of the fuel.

I don't plan on worring to much. I'll wait it out until spring / summer time when I can watch it.

I bought a truck; that's part of it.

Ive gotten as low as 13.5 on the first tank and my Thanksgiving trip (200 miles one way) I got 19 going .. easy on the gas and driving 65 max .. and 18 coming back heavy footed mostly 75 with one burst to the speed limiter just to see what it had.

I am very pleased actually.

FX4 Scab 5.5 ft bed

Dang, after never getting less than 18MPG in my Ranger (4x4/supercab/4.0) I couldn't imagine getting below what I am now in my truck.

I don't see how ya'll are getting that bad of mileage, even if I did hot rod it more, I don't think I could get BELOW 15MPG.

Have the tonneau on its way too. My Berlin tonneau on the Ranger yielded another 1MPG because of how it affected the drag, I expect another 0.5MPG increase to the F-150 with the addition of a streamline tonneau.
