Intsalling a Passport 8500 radar detector

Has anybody installed a Passport 8500 in their '04 yet?

If so, any tricks you found on running the power cord from the remote to the mounting location (I mount mine on the windshield just to the right of the rearview mirror)?

I'd prefer not to have to mess with the headliner in any way, shape or form if possible.

I mounted a thin Whelen Strobe light above my mirror. (for emergency fire department use) the wire was EASY to route between the roof and headliner by working it between the two. Also did the same on the little rubber strip between the door and the windshield post. All the wireing is neatly hidden now.

Cool, Thanks.

I looked things over this evening and was hoping the wires would neatly tuck in without having to monkey with the liner.
