is there any way of locking the doors while leaving the truck running.I have tried several different ways and when I close the door it automatically unlocks.I would like to lock the truck while I run into the local coffee shop in the morning and leave it running to warm up.

use the keyless entry pad push last two numbers at same time to lock

 

This is discussed in your owner's manual.

 

Push the drivers side lock by hand after locking the rest of the doors by button.
