Yaaaaaaaaaahooooooooooo!!!

Just got a call from the dealer today and my FX4 is ready

FX4 silver monotone screw, moon roof, reverse sensing, tow package, 18 rims, leather seats with floor shifter, etc...

Thanks to IzInBloOm and BigMacFX4 for giving me updates of my order, and thanks to Brewdude for advise on financing ( it was not as bad, I don't know the detail but finance manager seemed comfortable with my situation and promissed to get me a loan by tomorrow noon. I am putting 10K down if not more)

Thanks also to many others for aftermarket parts info and current issue on the truck. It is very helpful!! I will post some pics when I got my truck!!

Cheers!!

Congrats indeed!!

BTW:
Ask the dealer to run a Vincent (or Vin Set) on your truck. You can possible get extra financing or other deals. I went from 6.9apr to 4.9apr so its definately something to try. If they said they have no idea what your talking about...they are lying. It uses the first 2 numbers and the last 8 of the VIN. (its something like that, I forgot, maybe somone can correct me if I am wrong )

Enjoy Man!

Believe me its worth a try! I have no idea what my credit rating is. Im only 20. The dealer told me the first day I went to the dealership and he was trying to get me to a good apr, he first came back with 6.9 and said he will call ford and see how close i was to get a 4.9. He called and found out I was like .1 or .2 points away from getting 12.9apr. I was satisfied with 6.9. (my first auto, and without a cosign)

Next time I came back I told him to run the vincent and he came back and said he can get me 4.9. I was stoked!!!!

Saves some extra money!

4.9 for what term?

Check carefully with him - is it a 12 or 24 month term? That may be way more than you can or want to afford every month.

got it

I just got the truck today. The ride just feels great, very smooth.

I got premium plan and 500 dollar rebate for Horse Membership, and also free bed liner. The finance manager was generous despite of my bad credit score. Everything is just great....

Let me thank you all for all the info... I got the best deal out of this. Unfortunately I am busy for the rest of the week but I already hae retrax delivered and alpine nav ready to be installed. I will post those pictures next week.

Have a great evening folks!!

Hey red....Congrats and welcome to the ranks of us owners..its a great feeling. Glad to hear I was of some help. Thats great the financing worked out for you.And a bed liner too, my dealer is still researching it, whatever that means, maybe I'll call him tomorrow and bug him somemore about it. Let me know how you make out with the Alpine Nav, Thats my biggest dilemma right now. Not if I want to go with Pioneer or Alpine. (im a huge Alpine fan and have had nothing but , for the past 5 vehicles). What system did you get? all in one, or did you buy seperate components and a stand alone screen? Good luck with the install, ad again Congrats and good luck

Hi Brewdude,

I got the alpine IVA-D900 7" monitor with the nav system. I liked it because this system has got everything. I am going to take factory cd out and install this thing. I will have DVD/CD/NAV all in one with a state of the art display, and not to mention their new software seems to be the best around.

I heard that it even has the maps of dirt roads in the woods of down east ( Maine ) where I live....

Good luck on your bed liner deal. I will keep you posted on my mods when it's done!!

Cheers
