Question What did you pay for your 2004 F150?

Hey Guys,

Just curious - how much did you guys pay for your 2004 F150? I'm purchasing a new vehicle in January or February. I was set on an Accord based on my current vehicle but the F150 is one tasty dish. I was just curious as to what everyone here paid for their F150 so I know what kind of price I'm looking to pay. If you could include the specs/trim of your F150 that would be good too. I intend on purchasing a Supercab probably with the 4.6, maybe the 4.2. (Don't intend on towing anything, I'm a 22 year old recent college graduate)

I appreciate your help!

Melvin

88Accord,

Your question is a very broad question. There are many F150 models and options available.

What you might want to do is build your vehicle online at fordvehicles.com. That will teach you the different configuations available and will give you MSRP and invoice pricing. In general, expect to pay a little below invoice to a little above invoice. It can vary widely though.

Research the options available, study the messages on this board, ask questions, go to the dealers to look at some and make sure to shop around - especially if you are not familiar with trucks.

Good luck and have fun.

Just to give you an idea, my truck below cost me about $30,500 ($500 under invoice) (w/o trade in, w/o TT&L, with $1,000 loyalty rebate).

I have a 04 Fx4 (4x4 incase you are unfamiliar with the packages)supercab, 5.4 L engine, with Blazing Yellow and darkshadow grey two tone Paint, black cloth interior, 5.5' bed (because I don't need a truck very often just like the size of trucks), cassette and cd player 17" wheels... sticker was $34,900 and I got it for $32,400 out the door. Bought it Sept 20th so right during the first month of them being out. I've been out of school for almost a year. You can get $400 dollar graduate discount, I don't plan on towing much, but hope to get a boat at some point...

my philosophy is ALWAYS get the biggest motor you can afford...

your choices are the 4.6 V-8 and the 5.4 V-8... no 4.2 v-6 in this body style yet.

I love it and would recommend it too you over the accord (my 85 year old grandma drives an accord)

Pics are in my gallery

Hope this helps
