Just Picked My '04 Up; And First Mod
Finally picked it up. So excited I hope I checked it out well. Closed the dealership down - couldn't get there till 8:00PM. Got home and drove around the block a few times in the dark. Then sat in the driveway for about 15 minutes checking things out.
Made my first mod. Pulling off the dealer sticker that I forgot to tell them NOT to put on. Should have seen me - 10:00 in the dark, in the driveway, 30 degrees F, with a hair dryer and extension cord heating and peeling off the sticker.
The whole deal went fairly smooth. Got a good price, no heavy pressure for anything. Overall I am pleased how things went.
Got an appointment next Thursday to get my Line-X installed.
I'll post my first impressions when I have more time. Right now I've got that "New Truck Buzz" going on

the "New Truck Buzz" led me to jump in my tuck at 1 am and drive a few miles to the local McDonalds to park in their lot and sit on the tailgate just for the hell of it. they were closed and I just sat their smoking a cigarette and watching cars pass on the freeway. then i jumped in a drove around some more. the new truck is so fun. enjoy it man!
