Great looking truck. You got a really unique set of options with cloth bench seats, audiophile, moonroof, and rear defroster. I can't wait for my TruBluScru!

Sweet !!!

Hey Guigster,
Nice ride buddy. That is a great color combo. Good job on the pics, inside and out. I guess I'll just sit around and look at my vin # for now. Maybe I'll get lucky and Santa will drop mine off at the dealer soon.

Have a great turkey day,

-S-

Thanks guys! That is the beauty of ordering your own truck. You get everything you want and nothing you don't. I think I'm one of the few on this forum to get the cloth bench seat in the FX4. Or at least I'm the only one saying so. That black sport cloth is really really nice.

And I do keep getting complimented on the color. I love it more and more each time I look at it.

You guys have a good Thanksgiving too! Tomorrow I get to show it off to the whole family. It'll be the first time many of them will see it. I love showing off a new vehicle.

Great looking truck. I opted for 40/20/40 seats also. Mine is on order and is basically the same as yours except I didn't order the reardefrost and the color will be silvermetallic/dsg two-tone with flint seats. Should be here for X-mas. Ho! Ho! Ho!

Good Luck and Enjoy!!

Yes I did. He really did a nice job. Took longer than the time I was told, but I gave him my cell number and he called me while I was out at the mall and stuff. They had a truck in before mine that took longer than expected.

Not that I have to tell you this, but be sure to take scratch and dent inventory before you drop it off. Mainly on the tailgate. They remove it. I wasn't too wild about that.

I had the chance to get two silver screws with identical options to the blue one I ordered. I passed them both up for blue. I hope it's worth it because I'm getting real tired of waiting! I haven't seen a single blue one on the road, lots of black and gray. I hope it looks as good on the road as it does in pictures.

You'll be very impressed with the blue. Everyone who has seen it from other dealers to friends to relatives to co-workers, they all have complimented the color. Hopefully you got the two tone. I think that makes it look even better with the gray all the way around the bottom.

Thanks!

Oh yeah, I've checked yours out. I remember that stripe. I like the silver ones too. I didn't get it because I already had a silver car before and I wanted something different. Previous colors of my cars:

1984 Buick Skyhawk - Maroon
1988 Pontiac Grand Prix - White
1998 Ford Explorer XLT - Red
2001 Pontiac Grank Prix GT - Silver
2003 Nissan Pathfinder - Black (Still own - wife's)
2004 Ford F-150 FX4 - Blue (Mine)

I thought about it but I got scared off by the quality issues I've heard with 2-tone paint and the longer wait. I agree the gray stripe looks great with the fenders. I think the silver/gray combo looks really nice too. I think I'll be happy with monotone.

BREWDUDE,

Did you end up getting the one you ordered in CT? Or did you buy something else?

TruBluScru,

With the blue, you can't really go wrong. Two tone or no two tone.

I look at this gallery a lot while I'm waiting. It helps me remember why I'm not buying that black one off the lot today...
