slow boat from China

My FX4 Screw was built 11/4, shipped 11/6.
No word yet from the dealer. Also he says you can't
track the truck progress. Am I too anxious (yes) or
does it take more time to get from KC to PA?
I'm running out of room in the garage from all the aftermarket mods waiting!!! Don't they use manifests?

Ok, so it was shipped on 11/6. Add two weeks to that and you get 11/20. That's tomorrow. Hold your horses. If you don't hear anything by NEXT Thursday, then begin to get annoyed.

Hey 97cobraguy,, mine was built on the same day (11/4) as yours at the same plant. Mine is not in yet either. I live about an hour north of Chicago. I'm hoping any day now but I am not getting my hopes up. My sales person had told me it was "scheduled" to arrive at the dealers last Wednesday,, yea right. Not sure where he got that information but he was probably guessing.

I keep telling myself others have waited longer but it isn't helping. The first 6 weeks flew by. The last two weeks have been annoying.

Good luck. Hang in there.

Same day! how about that! My dealer told me it was due to arrive on 11/14. And now I'm sitting in PA waiting for mine, you're in Chicago waiting too. Maybe the same truck went over the cliff?
Or they're selling them on the black market.

My FX4 Scab was built on 11/4 as well and it arrived at the dealer on 11/10. Of course we are a little less than 200 miles from Kansas City here.
Dont mean to sound like I am rubbing it in, but they are showing up finally

I don't mean to rub it in, but my Screw Lariat had the same gate ship date, and arrived to the dealer on 11-11.

VA to PA ?

anyone have any shipping experience from the virginia plant to Pennsylvania? Just curious how long it is going to take to ship up this way. Mine was scheduled for build this week so I'm hoping it ships shortly.

Hey 97cobraguy

Looks like you better stop buying mods or build another garage. My truck is coming from KC and going to my dealer in Connecticut Built 10/23 shipped 10/28 STILL NOT HERE

Take a deep breath and just tell yourself its well worth the wait. Thats what I do evey night before I got to bed.

I keep telling myself that the longer I wait the more use I get out of the many repairs made on my old truck in the past 7 or 8 months. Have probably put 2 or 3 thousand dollars into it.

The only flaw in that thinking is I took a $20,000 advance against my home eqity refinance to keep from paying fees. I've already made my first monthly payment on that advance - so in a way I am already paying for my new truck that has not arrived

Brewdude,

Thanks for the info. I guess I shouldn't have taken it too seriously when the dealer tells you 2 weeks max for the delivery.
These pretzels are making me thirsty!!
