Anyone know off hand what size the sub woofer is? Just wondering if there was room to modify that box for a 2nd sub or a larger one. Haven't pulled it out yet, want to see if it's even worth while. Thanks in advance

It has an 8" sub but you may be able to squeek a 10" in the box. I have not taken it apart to be able to tell if you can fit a second sub on it anywhere. Personally, if you would replace the 8 with a 10 you would have all the bump you would ever need. There is something know as overkill...

Yeah, one ten would be fine, possibly 2 eights, no overkill

I'm not an expert by any stretch, but this enclosure may be maxed out with an 8" driver. Most 10"s (or double 8's) require a bit more volume in cubic inches to be effective. It would be a bummer to hog out the opening (or make a second) only to find that the 10" (or 2-8's) in that enclosure just doesn't get it. Then what you've got is a big black paperweight!
