Does this cleaner remove the wax in that area, and does it do any thing to the clear coat? Did you have to rewax the whole truck to match the repair area? Sorry for all questions.

 

The paint cleaner is clear coat safe. After I used the paint cleaner I then waxed only the problem area. I could not notice these spots anymore.

 

Is this a product you had to order, or you picked up at a local parts house?

I picked these products up at a local Canadian Tire Store. You probably do not have these stores but if you do try there. If not they should be available at your local auto parts store or a parts store that sells mcguiar's products. Good luck.
