Sorry redstorm, I can't help you with the VIN.

But I have a Q. What occurs on the blend date? I have one of 11/7.

Hey red,

Here's my order info so far........

Receipt Date: 10/15/2003
Serialize Date: 10/16/2003
Segment Date: 10/16/2003
Sequence Date: 11/4/2003
Blend Date: 11/7/2003
Produced Date: Not yet as of 11/11

I was given a build date/week of 11/10. It doesn't appear that's going to happen. I'm in no position to complain, as many others are waiting much longer.

I'm curious as to exactly what happens on the blend date and how long after the blend date are the trucks being produced? I was hoping to get my truck by the end of Nov. Looks like it could be tight! Damn, I'm impatient!!

Luckily, I live pretty close to Norfolk (200 miles). That should cut down on shipping time. Or should it?

Clem,

I might be wrong here, but I think the blend date is when the vehicle starts production, while the production date is the day it rolls of the line. It looks like it has been taking about 7-11 days from Bigmac's previous post.

I know we have ordered the same exact truck, but when did you order yours? My VIN status as of last week is as follows:

Receipt Date: 10/8/2003
Serialize Date: 10/24/2003
Segment Date: 10/24/2003
Sequence Date: 11/7/2003
Blend Date: ?
Produced Date: ?
Gate Release Date: ?
Ship Date: ?
Arrival Date: ?

I seem to be stuck at the SEQ data, what gives? Further, you know if yours comes in first I will be INSANELY ENVIOUS even though I believe the polished tubular side steps slowed me down. As I posted before, when I deleted them from my order I had the VIN Number the next day.

ski,

My dealer actually placed the order on Wed. Oct. 15th and recieved a Vehicle Order Confirmation on the 16th. Been waiting like an impatient idiot ever since! If mine does show up before yours, I promise not to rub it in.

Thank you. 3 days ealier on blend date. Now I am hoping the vacations does not mess up the timing. I have a high expectation that my truck to be built before/or in the week of 11/24/03.

Clem, looks like we got the same blend date. Let me tell you that you are one of the lucky guy to get to this point this early... look at my order date....

Have a good veterans day.

You are so right about that. I'm like a frickin' child over here who's waiting on a new toy. Except for one small difference - I have to pay for this toy!

What did you order anyhow? I'm interested to see if we get built at the same time.

Have a good veterans day.

Thanks. Same to you!

Well, I ordered FX4 supercrew in silver/metalic with pretty much all options: moonroof, tow pack, reverse sensing, 18 wheel, leather captain's chair with floors shift. Waiting is killing sometime but I enjoy going thourgh the posts on this forum and getting some aftermarket products.

So far I have got bug deflector, husky mat, and tailgator hitch. I will order either one of the retrax or the undercover but I've got some time. I will get the line-x sprayed before I install the tonneau cover. Oh yes... I am also thinking about remote starter and Navigation system but need to do some more research.

There is a lot of things you can do while waiting for truck. Longer the wait, more excitement you get. Not to mention you can get so much info here on this forum to learn what to look/expect when you get your expensive toy.

As for veterans day, I would like to thank all the soldiers who fought/is fighting for this country, and wish a good luck to all those who are waiting their man to come home.

Christmans is just aroung the corner so let's hope we will be driving the truck by then...

BR
