Mini Message Center

One thing I wish Ford would have done was make the readout of the mini message center a little bolder....eyesight is not as good as it use to be in my old age. Still love the truck though!

It is easy to see at night, but if it is a sunny day, it gets a little tougher to read. But, it is still a handy addition to the F-150.

What if you don't like carrots?

Some of you may or may not know this, but if you hold down the black button on the mini message center while you are starting the truck, it throws through the mini message center into a diagnostic mode and there are some interesting features you can scroll through like digital readouts of all the gagues and some display tests and so forth.....

Cool might there be an option to adjust the boldness of the readout.......I have gone through some of the adjustments such as the compass logistics. But keep in mind I don't have the "Message Center" I have the poor boy "Mini Message" center.

I think the mini message center (refered to as display center in the manual) in the is only offered on the other trim packages. But i'm sure it has some kind of diagnostics mode. I would try holding one of the buttons down as you start it. Hold it down for like 5 seconds after the engine starts. Let me know if it works on the lariet.
